Bringing Hope and Life to Mankind through Faith.
Jesus Christ is God’s only accredited gift to mankind for salvation. Man’s depraved nature was born from the fall of Adam at the Garden of Eden, and hence sin has become an inherent part of the nature of the human race (Romans 3:23). In fact, the requirement of the Law was that everything be cleansed only by blood, and since without the shedding of blood there’s no forgiveness of sin (Hebrews 9:22), the only way by which man could be restored to his original state of creation, live to please God, and to fulfill God’s original purpose for life, was for someone to shed a sinless blood for man’s sins to be remitted. A pure blood from a sinless source was necessary for man to be redeemed from the power of sin and from the fear of death, for man to be restored to his original status as being made in the likeness and image of God (Genesis 1:26), for man to be granted a new hope and life, and for man to be assured of an eternal life. This is what Jesus Christ came to fulfill and to achieve, being the only One who was fit to pay the ultimate sacrifice for sin (Acts 4:12). And this truth is central to our services.
The Church of Pentecost, Oakland District teaches and preaches about Jesus Christ and Him crucified for man’s salvation. Our message is pivoted on bringing hope and life to all mankind through faith in Jesus Christ, and through the new life that comes from a personal relationship with the Holy Spirit that has been given to us. Our message centers on being saved from the power of sin through the precious blood of Jesus Christ.
